Wing Chun in Central VA

For the past few years I kept just a handful of dedicated private students, but after long deliberation I've decided to pursue teaching full-time. This is a double-edged sword for me - while I am passionate about Wing Chun and the positive changes I've seen in every student of my system, I have carefully hand-chosen each person for their character and willingness to learn.

Opening myself to a wider range of students will mean not having the time to really get to know someone before they begin my classes. To make up for this I intend to speak with each potential student before they become full members, so that they might learn a bit more about the system, while I have the chance to decide if that person displays the qualities I've come to expect of my students.

I don't expect my students to be perfect by any means, as I am certainly not perfect myself! I only expect the honesty to admit that you aren't either, and the sincere willingness to learn more than just how to punch someone in the face. If you think you have what it takes, then don't be afraid to get in touch - I look forward to hearing from you.
